Some period films have substance, some have style and some, like The Young Victoria, are fortunate to have both. Julian Fellowes (Film Director and creator of Downton Abbey) made it his personal mission to be as historically accurate as possible in this film, employing several specialist consultants to this end. we were delighted to be included in the carriages used within the film.

This innovative and much stylised film shot at Shepperton Studios won an Oscar for its design. Like all period films it required horse-drawn carriages to create the period ambience and so Thomas Cribb, with our guarantee of authenticity, made the final cut in carriage selection.
